Art X was also instrumental in sharing the survey with arts networks along with FICCI and the British Council, to poll a wide range of stakeholders.
The first edition of the report provides a snapshot of the situation in India since the outbreak of COVID-19 and the consequent lockdown, from late March 2020 up until early June 2020. The report provides insights on the impact of the pandemic on the creative sector by tracing and reporting developments, and change over a sustained period. It reports on the systemic actions being taken to strengthen the creative economy, during and post COVID-19. The report also makes recommendations for the future development of the creative economy.
